The Class of 1965 was always an inspriation. It is Glen England's site http://www.65kahoks.com that inspired me to create a '67 site. He has done an awesome job and has many pictures on it. Visit their site and dream of ours being that well done some day! The Class of 1965 also  took the picture you see of Our CHS.

On December 2, 31 folks from the classes of '67 and spouses descended on Horseshoe Sports Bar for yet another CDC dinner.  We have been attracting between 25 and 40 people on the first Wednesday of every other month since the Collinsville Dining Conclave began in 2008.

At each gathering many of the "usual suspects" attend along with new faces each time to laugh and joke, reminisce and catch up.

Come see us in February.

We know published authors! Yes, we have published authors from our class.

Peggy Lauth Marlin is a new published author of a children's book.

Wackydoodle is a delightful children's story about a wacky bird that thinks he is an eagle. When the eagles make fun of him, he sets out to prove that he is worthy of being an eagle. Wackydoodle teaches us the importance of acceptance and friendship.

Don W. Weber has three published books from actual cases he was involved in as a Madison County Prosecutor:

Precious Victims (also a made for TV Movie) In June 1986 the police in Jersey County, Illinois accepted Paula Sims's story of a masked kidnapper who snatched her baby girl Lorelei from her bassinet. Three years later her second newborn daughter suffered an identical fate and this time the police were unable to stop searching until they had discovered the whole, horrifying truth.

Silent Witness Pretty Karla Brown was a former high school cheerleader, savagely murdered in broad daylight in St. Louis. The case seemed impossibly complicated, but years of work by police and investigators, led by Prosecutor Don W. Weber, resulted in a plan to lure the murderer into revealing himself.

Secret Lessons He was considered the perfect teacher . . . until his sexual manipulations of his young female students were exposed. This gripping insider's account tells of a popular sixth-grade teacher in Illinois who took advantage of his female students in the darkest case of serial sex abuse ever told.
